The African Studies Centre is delighted to announce the launch of the ‘Patrick Duncan Dissertation Bursary for Sustainable Development in Africa’. The bursary is designed to cover dissertation research expenses and it will be up to the African Studies management committee to make awards to the most suitable proposals. Preference will be given to applicants whose dissertation research focuses on sustainable development in Africa, including social and economic dimensions, but especially those addressing environmental issues.

Two awards will be determined by an annual competition open to all current students on the MSc in African Studies course.
